Busy Busy Busy
You may have noticed a few changes around here. We have the reviews section up, but it’s not quite booming, I added a featured band on the home page, and there is a shit load of new bands in our bios section… whew! I’m beat. I’m going back to Oklahoma next week to chill out, so it should slow down a bit here.
Yesterday I interviewed Radiofix on BlogTalkRadio and had a blast. I am also continuing a weekly spot I like to call The Humpday Quicky. It’s just a rundown of site news, the weekend’s calendar in local music, and calls from listeners or bands. I will probably take a break away from it until I get back from Oklahoma, but I want to hear your thoughts here… when’s a good time for the show? Would you listen? (you can comment)
You should check out the local scene this weekend. Listening to a cd or mp3s online just doesn’t cut it. There’s nothing like being surrounded by electrical pulses reverberated by sheer volume. To feel the music enter your very soul and radiate throughout your entire body… nothing beats a live show, and Arizona has some of the best bands.
